Battambang, Cambodia News: The Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts in Battambang went to examine a mini temple reported by local villagers , in Sampov Lun district, Battambang, near the mountain at the border between Cambodia and Thailand.

On February 07, 2019, Mr. Kim Sophorn, Deputy Director of Department of Culture and Fine Arts of Battambang, reported finding a rock formation that had a natural shape like a temple, which was not man-made. There are a few rocks like this that have a shape like a temple in Bokor Mountain in Kampot.

According to the report, this rock temple had been discovered by local people a few years ago, and then people posted a picture on social media, so the authorities went to check. The local people believe in the rock temple and they pray there for good luck. It is considered a holy place.
