Laotian Man Busted with 5,302 Pills of WY at Laos Border

Steung Treng, Cambodia News: On February 06, 2019, at 10:42 am, the police force led by lieutenant Doung Vechet, deputy commander, arrested a 40-year-old Laotian man, Ngoun Lae, for drug trafficking at the Cambodian-Laos border, Sangkat Samaki, Steung Treng city.

The police confiscated 5,302 pills of (WY) in 27 packs, a Phone, Laos money for 50,000 Kip(just over US$5), and a Black bag. WY pills are also known as yama or yaba, containing a mix of caffeine and methamphetamine. These drugs are taken to stay awake or to party, and are popular all over South East Asia.
The case of the suspect has been prepared to be submitted to Steung Treng court.
