I want to clear up some misunderstanding about the Chinese

Post by KHCHINATD »

I've been in Cambodia for a year, Many times I myself as a Chinese,Can't even stand to see some of the behavior of their own people.

But, after all, China has a population of 1.3 billion.
Without some retarded, I might feel like I'm living in heaven.

So, if you have any questions about Chinese people in Cambodia, or any questions about China, please ask me.
My English is poor. Also hope to know more about some of the western culture.

Welcome to CEO.

Given you ask, a few questions that come to mind..

Why do the Chinese speak so loud?

Why do the men spit in the toilets?

Why do they 'jump the queue' and not wait their turn at the airport?

Why do they like to gamble in the casino so much?

Sorry Excuse me, are you asking why I come to western forum? You know, most Chinese people may not have a high level of English.

The Chinese who come here, I mean those who work in some casinos, or do some other illegal work here.

A lot of those who work in casinos are misinformed about hiring and are unscrupulous brokers,They recruited people from China in a fraudulent way.

Most of those who have been cheated are of low quality, unable to find work or even run up huge debts in China.

I don't defend them, because they're just using their casino license to wire fraud.

I was taking a nice afternoon nap in my rented beach front bungalow out of Koh Rong Sanloem Island awhile back…

I was awakened by a horrific din of chatter and commotion just outside my door.

When I opened the door I found about 15 Chinese from a day-tour boat sitting on the patio.

They had shoved all of my personal stuff aide and were crammed unto the lounge chairs and perched on the railings, having a merry time.

I asked then, most politely to please move away only to get looks of bewilderment and puzzlement.

I asked again and motioned for them to go away. Nothing.

After several attempts I resorted to pejorative racial slurs and colorful profanity – that they understood and reluctantly departed.

So, my question is: If 15 of my friends and I are visiting China and get hot and weary from walking about, is it proper etiquette for us to go sit on someone’s porch, raise a cacophony of racket, hauk and spit luggies over the railings, and make ourselves at home?

Well, they may not know it's your private property.

But this is not their low-quality excuse, I can not find a reason to give them an excuse.

I think, if you have this kind of thing again, please let them leave directly and warn them that if they don't leave or do something else, you will call the police.

Because their work is often illegal, and because they do not speak the language, they can not communicate with the police.

In fact, the key issue is language and cultural differences.

Maybe it would be very convenient for a Chinese to go out and communicate with them.

But you and I both know that's unrealistic, and if they don't respect others, then others don't need to respect him.

About speaking loudly, this is purely a matter of personal quality.

Toilet spitting, May be regarded as cultural genetic it, because in China this is a very common phenomenon, no one will feel the difference because of this.

Queuing problem. I'm sorry I don't understand his translation.

Why Chinese people love gambling so much, I can't answer because I can't gamble.

Maybe it's the pathological gamblers.

Why did you choose Dr Strangelove as an avatar? Are you a Peter Sellers fan or is there a deeper, more ominous meaning?

Why does eating a snakes gall bladder improve eyesight? Do you wish that restaurant patrons not smoke while you eat breakfast as well ?
Why do you think I can not get into a massage parlour unaccompanied but am welcome in a barbershop for a little pay for play action?
