Hush Hush Surrounds Italian Man's Death at NaNa Hotel, Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh, Cambodian News: On January 28, 2018, at 11:50 pm, an unidentified Italian man was found dead in his room on the 3rd-floor at NaNa hotel in Sangkat Psar Thmei 3, Khan Don Penh, Phnom Penh.
Yesterday evening, the hotel staff reported to the police that a foreign man had died at NaNa hotel. The police went to the scene and contacted the specialist police for examination of the deceased, who was suspected of suffering from a heart attack. However, after examining the body, police refused to answer any questions or provide any information to journalists concerning the death, and the body was sent out of the hotel by ambulance to an unknown destination.
This discretion on the part of the police is unusual in Cambodia, where police regularly comment in the media, and reporters are usually permitted to photograph the dead.

An inner sanctum level Bong Thom is in some way financially involved with said hotel...
...and in a strict patronage system such a Cambodia, no one will dare upset the rice bowl of what is or potentially could be a high level, deep pocketed patron for them.

Cambodian police have identified the deceased as PIETRO ZENTI, a 68-year-old Italian tourist.
After inspection by police forensic staff, the cause of his death was determined to be a heart attack. His body has been taken to the morgue at the Khmer Soviet Friendship Hospital, awaiting instructions from the Italian Embassy once the family are informed. RIP
