Man Attacks Vendor For Refusing Him Rice Wine and a Cigarette

Kampong Speu, Cambodia News: A 42-year-old man, Siem Soeun, was arrested after attacking a man who didn't want to sell him a cigarette and rice wine on credit in a village near Kampong Speu.

The violence broke out after the suspect went to ask the shopkeeper to sell him a cigarette and some rice wine, but he didn't have any money to pay for it, so the seller refused. The suspect, who was already drunk, got very angry and attacked the victim with two samurai swords causing him injury.

The police took the suspect into custody, and his swords were confiscated after he posed for the compulsory mugshot with his weapons.

Could have had a bit more conviction for his mugshot like this:

And he could put those swords to more constructive use, make money and not have to use credit to buy a cigarette and rice wine.

If that rickety terminal alkie managed to injure me with his "samurai swords", I'd probably commit hari-kiri rather than live with the shame of being bettered by such a wretch.
