What’s going on near Kandal Market?

Woke up this morning to Khmer music blaring through the window around 8 am attempting to shake my room awake. Then some announcements, then more thumping music.

Is there something going on near Kandal market?

I thought wedding season was over?

Nope.

D-Seasons store just opened up across the street from Sun and Moon. The DJ they hired saw fit to let everyone in the neighborhood know starting at 8 am in morning.

On returning, quiet has returned.

Guess the DJ was expensive.
