Cambodian Police Attend Training Course with US NGOs AIM SWAT and Joy International
Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On 18 January, 2019, His Excellency Major General Paul Parung Acting President, Department of Anti-Human Trafficking and Minor Protection, addressed trainees who completed a 5-day training workshop on Police Tactical Operations and Firearms Training which was held from 14-18 January.
The workshop included courses on the trafficking and sexual exploitation of women and children, and the need for close cross-border cooperation on human trafficking, as well as training on the intervention and treatment of victims of rape and violence.
The 5-day training course was attended by two US organizations: AIM SWAT and Joy International (JOY INTERNATIONAL), with a high-profile presenter from the United States, and the trainees participating in the course were from Takeo, Kampot, Pursat, Kampong Chhnang and Kampong Speu.

More on the training partners: AIM SWAT and Joy International are both faith-based US NGOs that send out missions to third world countries like Cambodia to save victims of trafficking.
