The guy who was coming let me know he’s not well, so I have two ladies from Smile cleaning- they are charging me $10 for an hour clean.

They are brilliant!

Looking for a cleaner

Post by rozzieoz »

I thought I’d update this thread:

I’ve been using Smile Cleaning and they are fantastic.

Two ladies come twice a week and clean for an hour. It costs me $10 plus $2 travel each time (they come from bloody far away).

I can highly recommend this company, run by a Barang guy from the UK and his Khmer girlfriend. They are really nice people with great customer service skills.

Wish they would operate in Kep. I've been looking for a good reliable housekeeper that speaks a bit of English for over a year now, posted several ads but haven't found one yet. I offer between $190 and $250 a month depending on experience for a full time cleaner (5 days a week, max. 7 hours a day). I thought that was a good wage for here but when I see these prices an hour, I should offer more? I thought a cleaner usually only earns around $150 a month :chin:

Roz paid $5 an hour per cleaner. But how much if that $5 went to the agency and not to the cleaner? Probably $4.
