How does everyone do visa runs these days?

I think with the new rules more people will have to do visa runs so hopefully someone can help me stay long term.

I have figured out you can get 1 month ordinary visa + 6 month EG extension when entering = 7 months.

How do you proceed if you won't have a real job with work permit?

I fly to KL. But as a 6 month EG is multiple entry you have to stay overnight so you don't re-enter on your still valid EOS. Although tea money might possibly convince them to stamp "used" on your old visa. If you get a good deal, AirAsia offers return flights for less than $60 ex PP.

In the FB Cambodian Visa group the jury is out as to whether a third EG is attainable if you've had two already.
