Parachute Jumper Commits Suicide by Burning Himself to Death

Kampong Speu, Cambodia News: The police reported that a parachute jumper no.911, Nong Eng, 35-year-old, committed suicide by burning himself to death on January 13, 2019, at 3 am in Sangkat Sopor Tep, Chbarmorn city, Kampong Speu.

The victim was a jealous man, who was always arguing with his wife. That night after an argument, his wife went to sleep at her father's house. The victim followed her to her father's house and called his wife to come home but she refused. Later, she relented and returned home, where she found her husband had burnt himself. The woman called an ambulance, and the victim was sent to Preah Kosamak hospital for emergency treatment, but it was too late, he had already passed away.

After that incident, the authorities examined the body and determined that the victim killed himself by burning. The body was returned to his family for funeral preparation.
