Crackdown on Wild Boar Meat Trafficking in Mondulkiri

Mondulkiri, Cambodia News: According to the page of the Department of the Environment in Mondulkiri, on January 10, 2019, the police stopped a Corolla car plate no. PP2B-6865 carrying nearly 100kg of wild boar meat in the trunk, on National road 6, Memai village, Pechrada district, Mondulkiri. Three people were arrested.

The suspects and the evidence were sent to the Department of the Environment in Mondulkiri to prepare their case for court. The wild boar meat was destroyed by burning at the WWF organization in Mondulkiri.
