ABA is the most westernised bank here with very similar services you would expect from a bank back home. They also have the most ATMs.

Just don’t expect western efficiency inside the bank.

Once, after an ATM ate my card, I went to the ABA on Sihanouk Blvd to get it back. There are three branches/offices within about 100 metres, so after waiting 40 minutes to be served I found out I was at the wrong one. But the guy called them and they got a runner to drop it over to me, which was nice. Would not have got that service in Australia, but then they wouldn't have three branches practically next door to each other, either.

Thanks for everyone's advance. Sounds like ABA is the winner. What documents would I need for the procedure? Is a local address required?

When I opened my ABA account in S.R., I only needed to show my passport and EOS and they asked for my address.
