How do you fill your day

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I might start a new thread, but this seems appropriate for the moment.

Is the local (Khmer) version of chess equivalent to European (western) chess?

Others have asked and been ignored before - other than a discussion on the chess club - but anyone up for a game over a coffee in the TTP area?

IraHayes wrote:A cost effective way to **fill your Day** for me has always been online gaming. Specifically, MMORPGs. Back in the UK I used to play World of Warcraft.... a LOT! These days if I get any down time I try to sleep. Not having a gaming rig is a contributing factor though that will change soon all being well. Then I'll play Path of Exile again as I like the character development paths. But I simply won't have the free time to play anything to excess like I played WoW.

Now the low season has kicked in the mad rush in the mornings of people checking out, catching buses, early check-ins etc as abated and life can slow down a little. I have time to do some small jobs, make improvement and occasionally post on here :)
I may even get the chance to read a few books that have been put aside.
Cool man. I used to play WoW a lot. I bought it about 2 months after it was released and played it straight through Wrath of the Lich King, which is a while back now. It has been years since I have played it. I quit PC gaming once I graduated university as the real world came knocking fast with a steady relationship, decent paying job, buying my first home.

Just to let you know, I am downloading that Path of Exile now. I love trying a lot of games, even if I don't end up playing them for as long as they take to install. :)

Cheers and good share. :pardon:
I'll give ya 500 Riel for it...
