Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Smoke & Bad Smell wafting in over Boeung Tumpon

Post by Username Taken »

Sitting quietly on my balcony, I noticed what looks like smoke coming in from the south west. The strange smell made me think that maybe there's a wat burning a body.
Looking out the back, the smoky haze much thicker.

Anyone else in this area getting this? @StroppyChops

We've been over in TTP for the evening, but there does seem to be a lingering smell over this way. It's hard to identify over the usual smell of burning rubber, but I think you may well be right UT.

The Ministry of Environment on Monday inaugurated its palatial new headquarters in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district, the result of a state-private land swap.

A Buddhist ceremony to bless the “Morodok Techo Building” in Chaktomuk commune was attended by more than 400 ministry officials and presided over by nine monks.
