It's distracting people from what's really just happened in the UK.

Did not realise that posts need facts, that would invalidate 99% of the general section of the forum.....frank lee bent wrote: ↑Sat Dec 22, 2018 7:56 pm Has some group claimed responsibility? Are there political ties of the suspects?
I dont see any facts here. Just opinions of probabilty.
UK politics are kind of a sideshow now for me with the French saga taking center stage.
Anyway...Facts.

He was on a bike.
They were pretty stupid to think they would not be caught.
Latest news states that they were Eco activists.
Two of my mates have copped Xmas and New Year duty rather than being with their families thanks to these idiots.

Oh I know, the Left are a shining example of how we should all lead our lives.
Most of these Far right crimes are in retaliation to a environment created by modern liberalism. They try to preserve a way of life being eroded and converted to a completely alien one.
Is it asking too much to stick to the thread topic rather than disrupting it by ramping up the left/right wing agenda. Maybe start a thread on it? There have been enough warnings about thread disruption over the last few weeks.

Couldn't one just say "extremists are extremists"?
To me it doesn't matter which "side" someone is one if they do something stupid or violent.

When they brought the snipers in, I thought great, they're going to take quick decisive action & sort the problem out straight away.
But no, they were only thinking about shooting the actual drones

Read my post again, it invalidates a person's points. Not the act itself, Come on.. that's basic English lol.AB101 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 22, 2018 7:26 pmSo there is no harm in what the drone operators are doing as in your opinion the argument is negated? I made it into the UK last week as I flew into Heathrow but it could just as well have been Gatwick on a later date and my plans could have been ruined.JUDGEDREDD wrote: ↑Sat Dec 22, 2018 7:03 pm Why is everything lefty, such a redundant term these days. Just invalidates a person's entire arguement/opinion in my books
I agree with TOG that these people are invariably left wing or democratic activists. You seldom see right wing or Republican activists out causing wide spread disruption. In the UK you seem to have an epidemic of left wing activists now that Jeremy Corbyn and Militant rule the Labour party. Any excuse and it's "Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war". I do not remember any news about right wing activists flying blimps of a huge rat or a blimp of Hillary Clinton in a nappy. This seems the reserve of the far left.
However, just my and it seems many others opinion.
Slow down little world, you're changing too fast.

As the OP.JUDGEDREDD wrote: ↑Sat Dec 22, 2018 10:24 pm Read my post again, it invalidates a person's points. Not the act itself, Come on.. that's basic English lol.
So an opinion invalidates the points. Interesting interpretation. I never stated it as a fact that they were left wing, I used the word "probably". An opinion not a fact.
I made at least 8 points in my original post. Are all of these invalidated or just the ones you disagree with? However, you said "in my books" so your post is also just an opinion so why round on AB101 who feels the same way as I do and does not share your opinions?
