Thanks for the reply Daniel,it just makes my blood boil due to my unfortunate experince with social services.The lady assigned to my case even admitted to me she was running down the clock,in her words.Any way my son is a Father himself now,and i am a proud Grandad.Last thursday HE talked a women out off throwing herself of a motorway bridge on the M65,my son that is. And i am a great believer in Karma HIS MOTHER had a Heartattack under 40.

It was more than unfortunate Pieman, by the sound of it. It sounds like you got thoroughly screwed by someone who had stopped caring, and I don't know you beyond this forum, but honestly, when I saw that kind of 'work' (and I did sometimes see it), it made my blood boil too, on behalf of all the kids workers like that are MASSIVELY letting down.

It sounds like despite all the problems in respect of his mother, you've raised a really good son. You should be very proud of any son who talks someone out of committing suicide - he sounds like a decent soul.

My own take on this young girl echoes what has already been said. At first I thought she was naive and misguided, I mean look at the parallels with that guy Loryman from a few weeks back newsworthy/stephen-john-loryman-arreste ... 25013.html

wrote about pitying Khmer street kids
wrote about educating them
wrote about taking them places
saw himself as a savior
wrote about buying them food and supplies
brought kids back to the house to sleep
wrote about trying to rent a small place for them to live
didn't seem to care or involve parents in his decisions

all of these should have been red flags to anyone before he got caught. Now just because missy here is a young girl, to ensure any child protection system works it cannot discriminate against male and female, old and young. What she was doing were total red flags, completely without any boundaries or thought or care about what she was doing, no obvious plan just completely reactive and would cause more harm than good.

That was before I realized what a potty mouthed, illiterate and aggressive young lady she was. She in my opinion, is a danger to children and is channeling her past traumas and seemingly thinking she is the only solution. As mentioned, instead of getting the right agencies involved it is "no other agency will help, i am the only one who can do it, look at me and all this poverty porn, give me attention". She clearly has issues and in my opinion should not be left alone to carry on like this, not because she is a pedophile as she seems to think any criticism means, no, because she has no boundaries, holding kids that aren't hers, taking photos with them,...and that 15 year old boy going to her house, well that is dangerous territory and the fact she refuses to acknowledge this is a major concern and shows where her head is at.

My advice to this Brit wannabe Angelina Jolie should take a step or twenty back and put a lens on it and apply some critical thinking too it (seems unlikely) and see how this should be left for the professionals, with good reason. She seems good at marketing herself and pulling in with donations so perhaps she should raise funds for Friends or CCF instead.

It's actually her uncle and not the children of Cambodia that she should be trying to save.

Instead of getting on his flight to the UK a couple of days ago to return to his job and his children, he has decided to stay in Cambodia with his hooker girlfriend. Stupidity definitely runs in the family.
