problems with paypal

Post by curiosity »

Hi!

My paypal-account was deactivated recently. Then I asked a friend to help me out with his paypal-account. Now his paypal-account got blocked too. A recent payment for me is on that account.
I asked the sender to open a case against the receiver to return the money, but this was the result:

"We're unable to file a case on this transaction. You'll need to contact the payee directly to resolve your issue."

Any other ideas how to get the money back?

What alternatives to paypal are you using?

Have you called them? They have helped me over the phone a few times in the past to unlock my account while abroad.
