Italian ANDREA GATTO and Swiss PATRICK SCHERRER Busted with Meth in Sihanoukville

Preah Sihanouk province, Cambodia News: Brigadier General Choun Narin, provincial police chief, said that Sihanoukville police have detained three suspects, including two foreigners, for drug offenses on December 16, 2018, at 23. 55 pm in Group 2, Village 6, Sangkat No. 04, Sihanoukville.
The first suspect is identified as Noun Srey Roth, unemployed Khmer female 27-years-old, the second suspect is named as ANDREA GATTO, Italian male, and the third is PATRICK SCHERRER, a 31-year-old Swiss businessman.
Police confiscated 44 small packages, 2 slides, 3 phones, 1 motorbike and some packaging materials in the raid. The suspects have been detained for questioning.

Five Charged After Sihanoukville Restaurant Fight

The Preah Sihanouk Provincial Court on Tuesday charged three Italian men and two Cambodians with intentional violence following their arrests over a brawl at a Sihanoukville restaurant on Sunday, a court official said.

Deputy prosecutor Ros Saram said Investigating Judge Sok Soeun charged two of the Italians—Matteo Moratella, 36, and Fabrizio Alvoni, 46—with intentional violence, and the third—Andrea Gatto, 32—with intentional violence with aggravating circumstances.

“We charged [Mr. Gatto] with intentional violence with aggravating circumstances because he had a knife during the fight,” Mr. Saram said.

He added that Dy Sovichet, 26, and Det Don, 24, who he said worked at the Moon Shack I Restaurant, were also charged with intentional violence for fighting with the Italians over an allegedly stolen wallet.
