Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: An extremely drunk man, driving a new Hyundai car along Preah Sihanouk Boulevard Stung Treng near Kabangnak Bridge, Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Chamkarmon, hit four poles and a rubbish cart before coming to an abrupt halt when he smashed his way into a Tela petrol station.

The drunken driver was traveling north to south at high speed when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the petrol station forecourt, destroying two petrol pumps. The incident happened at 12:20am on Sunday, December 16, 2018.

The station owner quickly assembled four fire extinguishers and sprayed the area as a measure of precaution, but fortunately, there was no fire and no one was hurt.

Police have impounded the automobile at the Phnom Penh Road Traffic Police office, waiting to have a discussion with the owner.
