The most misleading word ever!

Taco Bell coming to Thailand is nothing to be proud of or happy about. They were thrown out of the Netherlands. Thais do not eat beans.

Furthermore, nobody in Mexico eats hard shell tacos. That is an invention of the US junk food industry.

Lots of misinformation here:
"Thais don't eat beans" they do, usually in Chinese derived desserts.
"Tortillas are flour water and salt" you left out the most important part for soft flour tortillas, Lard
"Hard shell tortillas are an invention of the junk food industry, no one in Mexico eats them" hard shell tortillas are traditional Tex-Mex, so of course they don't eat them in Mexico. There are many things like them tough.
Traditional Mexican tortillas are made from dried corn treated with alkali(thus treated it's called Masa), for a lesson on why that's a good thing (besides changing the taste) Google Pellagra. They aren't fried, usually cooked on a flat disk called a "comal" similar to an Indian "tawa", occasionally they're grilled or baked. I use a flat sheet of steel I got for the local metal shop.

Is it not misinformation, it was a quick point to show that tacos are easy to make. Missing out lard is hardly misinformation. There are so many tortilla recipes around that you could also be accused of misinformation for missing out baking soda which is included in most recipes.

Well, if you want to be nitpicky...
Lard keeps tortillas supple, other fats can be used but with a difference in flavor and/or texture.
Baking soda is not a traditional Mexican or Tex-Mex ingredient, it appears in modern recipes almost exclusively.
Tacos are a Pita (nice pun?) to make, as they require Masa and a mould to keep their shape when you deep fry them in a Lot of oil. That is, if we're talking about Tex-Mex hard shell tacos. If we're talking "soft tacos" or what they call "tacos" in Mexico, well that's a different ball of wax.
