What's a good venue in PP for an office holiday party?
For 30-50 people. Something very nice and classy, we can spend a bit but maybe not Sofitel prices. Would want a private room, not just a few tables in a large establishment mixing with other diners.

I know someone that could rent you a whole street complete with all accessories and loud music.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

Set aside your western imagination of fancy and make a VIP reservation with Little Sheep. Let them know what drinks you want cold in large quantity (beer?) so they can prepare on time. Order one large pot of soup per every 5 people and make sure to get both the spicy and non spicy bases. Order beef plates and vegetables to share. They will enjoy it more than Sofitel, I guarantee it.

It will be mostly Westerners, some Filipinos, very few Khmers. No soup places. The boss wants something nice.

you could check out the country clubs / golf courses here. They usually have a decent sized place for a decent price. but they are boring a.f.
But for "... 30-50 people ..." if it's a male only group, then easy... steam, group sauna, massage, ktv, seafood dinner with a cheap mobile dj for a dancefloor.
For mixed, chinese restaurant triple vvip room reservation and followed by a small private event with free flow at cozy local bistro or bar.
[edit: scrap free flow, just get a few kegs and a case of wine for the event and maybe a box of the sparkling posh stuff for the vips. ]
Realized there's some confusion on the freeflow aspect. Most bars/cafes/bistros/wineries/breweries have a package deal. Freeflow is around $10 to $20 per pax provided you hit a base pax capacity. That's the max you'd expect to pay.

What about upstairs at Khema la Poste? Good food and for a large group I am sure you could arrange a buffet or good prices when selecting from the menu. The upstairs space can easily hold 50 persons

Isn't it awkward to walk past the street workers outside Khema? The short time hotel next door still operates with $2.50 whores outside.
As for big boss wanting something "nice". Since Little Sheep isn't, I would like to ask the thread starter to name a place with a bigger parking lot and more expensive cars. It's hot pot not a soup place you doofus.

I have been to little sheep and wouldn't recommend it. No need to get personal because they didn't like your suggestion.fax wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 11:29 am Isn't it awkward to walk past the street workers outside Khema? The short time hotel next door still operates with $2.50 whores outside.

And to be fair, hot pot isn't that far removed from soup. Just with some raw meat on the side.

Who walks? Car and moto parking is right outside the restaurantfax wrote: ↑Sat Dec 08, 2018 11:29 am Isn't it awkward to walk past the street workers outside Khema? The short time hotel next door still operates with $2.50 whores outside.
