Chinese Man Goes Berserk with Meat Cleaver in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: A shocking incident occurred at 2:44 pm on December 1, 2018, on Street 432 in Boeung Trabek, Khan Chamkar Morn, Phnom Penh, when a Chinese man went berserk with a meat cleaver and had to be forcibly restrained by police using riot shields as protection.

It seems that the main victim of the violence was the Chinese man himself. For the moment, the circumstances of the incident are unclear. More information to follow.

I drove last there before the police arrived.. That guy was standing behind a counter in a coffee shop covert in blood. Everyone was keeping their distance and some guys were watching holding metal poles.

Luckily nobody got hurt aside from the guy himself =)

It's been reported that at least two other people may have been injured in the random attack, including a policeman.

It was however the Chinese assailant who was the most seriously wounded in the incident, but police were taking no chances, and he was taken off to hospital in hand-cuffs. The reason for the outburst of violence remains a mystery, but it has been suggested that the man had been taking drugs.
