Indian Man SUBHAJIT CHANDRABISANZ Detained for Living Illegally in Cambodia
Siem Reap, Cambodia News: Siem Reap police report that after receiving information from local people, they went to detain a 34-year-old man, SUBHAJIT CHANDRABISANZ, at Promroth pagoda, for living illegally in Cambodia without a passport.
After questioning, the police found that the Indian man arrived in Cambodia on November 15, 2017, through the Beang border crossing near Poipet. He then went to live in Siem Reap, but he had no job and no passport.
Following police questioning, the suspect was sent to Siem Reap deportation department to follow the legal procedure.

I'm surprised that none of the Indian/Bangladeshi/Sr-Lankan clothes hawkers ever get rounded up and deported. There is no way any of them are living and working here legally with valid Immigration and Employment documents.

respect to them, bloody hard work and never complain, unwrap 20 shirts, no one buys, no complaint, just fold them all up and carry on, even in terrible heat

Agreed...they certainly get around too, I remember coming across one guy who was a regular in Chbar Ampouv all the way out in the middle of Kampong Bumfuck-Nowhere.
