Sihanoukville, Cambodia News: Lieutenant Chuon Naren, the Sihanoukville police chief, reported that three 18-year-old Cambodians have been arrested for attacking Chinese men with samurais swords in Sihanoukville.
Two separate attacks against Chinese nationals took place in Sihanoukville last week.

On November 20, 2018, at 2 am, a Chinese man, LIANG GUIBIN, 26-year-old, working at HUNG LEI casino, was attacked when he stopped to urinate in the street. Then on November 21, 2018, at 11:30 pm, 2 Chinese tourists, ZHOU WENBING, 27-years-old, and WANG SI REA, 25-years-old, were attacked by a gang with samurai swords, causing serious injuries to the two victims. Blood transfusions were needed and one of the victims had a facial gash needing 10 stitches. They were sent to the hospital in Phnom Penh.


After receiving a complaint from the victims, the police searched for the suspects and arrested 2 of them on November 24, 2018, at 10 pm, then arrested a third suspect later on. The suspects were identified as Ya Sokri called Ka, an 18-year-old electrician, Has Alphari called Doung, an 18-year-old electrician, and Thoeun Sathek, 18-years-old. All three suspects reside in Sihanoukville.The police confiscated a samurai sword, a steel rod, and a motorbike.

The suspects confessed that they were angry with the victim who had earlier squeezed one of their girlfriends on the tourist boat. The men got armed up and went looking for the victim. After their confession, the police are preparing the suspects' case for court.
