Phnom Penh: On the orders of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Sar Tha, Deputy Commissioner of Phnom Penh, police have been instructed to step up operations to crack down on drug use and dealing in the Sisowath Quay area on the Phnom Penh riverfront.
As a result, on November 20, 2018, at 15:00, a man was arrested on the corner of Street 178 and Sisowath Quay in possession of 27 bags of white powder and some bags for selling drugs.
The case is still under investigation, but the suspect, named as Hang Pich Saly, male, 20 years old, will be charged with drug trafficking before the Phnom Penh Court of First Instance in accordance with the procedures.

I was down around there a couple of times over the festival. There was a roadblock in front of FCC and cops everywhere. I can just imagine this dealer guy decided to ignore all that, and have business as usual. So there was probably no investigation, the guy just started dealing in front of the cops and got arrested because they obviously aen't the same cops who are around there for the other 362 days of the year. Fucking imbecile.
