ANUSA Residence and Spa, Siem Reap

Post by newkidontheblock »

Just wanted to give a recommend to ANUSA Residence and Spa in Siem Reap.

Booked two rooms for my parents for the wedding (one for them, another a Khmer chaperone).

Hotel inquired about arrival time. Had a welcoming big cold drink and cold towel for not just them, but also for me and the missus. Service was good. The rooms were big and clean with heavy hardwood floors and big bathroom. Rooms were separated by a lockable divider door. At the end of their stay, the hotel gave each of them a beautiful full length krama, embroidered, tasseled, etc. as a thank you gift.

If I had to stay in temple town, I would book it again in a heart beat.

I think it means welcoming in Khmer. If they changed it to ‘Joi’ would it be better?

That was part of my chanting mantra. I kept muttering ‘chuab joi’ and ‘joi samnran’ so my lips could move during the reply part of the monk chanting sessions.

Luckily it was so soft that no one noticed.

Tbh this is expected... Have you stayed at any other hotel before?

Did they have showers and beds in the room for you to use? Would you like to compliment them for that too?

actually i believe its អនុសារ and means "Traditional", from the Sanskrit - Anusāra meaning "Conformity"
