That must have been one of the busiest streets in Phnom Penh at the time. Phnom Penh was much smaller then, and there was a lot more space. You didnt have to go very far, and the houses were old style wooden village houses with thatched roofs. Then a little further there were rice fields.

Some do-gooders use the war an an excuse to justify the behavior of Cambodians.
