Yesterday an Australian woman with no visa and no money got arrested while wearing a wifebeater.
Today an Australian woman dies of a heart attack caused by drinking too much beer.

One of the working girls from that bar tried to rob me when staying up stairs, i seen the door handle turning so i opened the door & she said sorry i have wrong room. An English bloke ran it who also worked as a DJ on riverside, did a local radio gig as well. I remember the barman had such a nice eye that the other couldn't stop looking at it, would of cost a lot in spillage.Cam Nivag wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 1:10 am I remember staying at the Angkor International Hotel about 14 years ago, back when Street 148 was a dirt road. Rooms were $10 a night and quire dirty and run down. There was a somewhat sleazy bar on the ground floor called the Temple Bar. I think they offered a specialty drink that included Viagra. I remember a story about some Japanese women being tied up and robbed in one of the rooms.
I understand that the place was renovated at some point, but I'm guessing it's still a sleazy flophouse.

Well lets get our facts straight here.. I lived on st 148 when I first arrived in 2003 about 20 or 30 meters from Ankor International Hotel, and it was never a dirt road then.Cam Nivag wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 1:10 am I remember staying at the Angkor International Hotel about 14 years ago, back when Street 148 was a dirt road. Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.

I was in Phnom Penh recently and needed a room, so I stopped at Angkor International. $30 they asked for a twin room.
Laughed in the guy's face, left. Shithole.
Interestingly a girl with huge knockers whom I remembered sucking many people's cocks around 172 years ago was working behind reception and she gave a wry smile.

I stayed at the Angkor International in 2014? It wasn't a shithole then. Not a lot going on downstairs. They'd recently put in a new lift. $22 for the premium for walkins, if I remember correctly.
