I need to buy an iPad Pro

Post by Rogue »

It's time to get an iPad but having researched the topic there aren't any authorized retailers here in PP. Does nayone know of a reputable shop that sells NEW, not refurbished or second-hand products?

Price points for comparison would be good, too.

Thank you!

I have found that prices of computers / laptops / tablets are overpriced in Cambodia , firstly because of the company's here lack of bulk buying power and secondly the import tax.

Now compare that with the Samsung Tab A 10 '' that I buy two of every 6 months when I go back to OZ.

Shop price is A $ 348, which I bargain down to A $325 , each, when I buy two. Making it A $650.

I get my tax back at the airport ,, Making the price , A $ 591

That is USA $ 213 each at present exchange rate

When the kids drop them and the screens shatter or brake it's cheaper to just replace them rather than repair them.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Not sure why anyone would want an Apple product nowadays but that's a different conversation.

I believe iOne on the ground level of Sovanna is an authorized seller...or at least the sign out front says they are.

Future World sell Ipads. The latest IPad just came out. The top model, with 1TB storage and 4G, will set you back almost $2K.

Yeah, I know. It sucks kangaroo cocks. I can only justify it as a business expense. The ROI works, though.

The price for the 512 GB WiFi is about $100 more than in the US. WIFI+Cellular version is $90 less than in the US. Cambodia does not always mean more expensive. Overall Apple tries to keep products more or less the same price worldwide.

Cheaper price doesn’t always translate into usability and longevity.

For me, I find the iPad experience more intuitive than Android. Plus it integrates into the ecosystem with my iPhone and my MacBook.
