Siem Reap, Cambodia News: According to the Siem Reap Provincial Department of Tourism, in the first 9 months of 2018, Siem Reap received 4,450,732 tourists.
This demonstrates a 8.55% increase in visits from the same period last year. The number of international arrivals stood at 1.901.569, an increase of about 8%.

By country, 831,803 tourists, or 43.74% of all international visitors to Siem Reap, were from the Peoples Republic of China, followed by South Korea, with 142,515 visitors, an increase of 28.17%.

At the same time, according to the official figures, the number of guests from Japan, the United States, Britain, France, Australia, and Vietnam is decreasing.

What would be of much more interest is to know if revenue also increased. I suspect not.
