Best (android) Phone Repair?

Post by Dangerous Dave »

The headphone jack of my Gakaxy Note 3 has stopped working, and I'm wondering if anyone has had an unusually good experience with any specific one of these sketchy-looking mobile shops, either around Soriya or elsewhere in PP?

I would go to the repairer for the manufacturer. An internet search found this.

Samsung Customer Service Cambodia

Address:
Preah Monivong Blvd (93), Phnom Penh, Cambodia
It looks as if it is between streets 240 and 242.

Phone: +855 23 993 233

I have had a micro port changed on a samsung phone for $1, a screen glass replaced for $15 and a "whole screen" replaced on a Galaxy for about $70. They have always been very good and quick.

Their google map link isn't coming up; are they inside Central Market, or in one of the buildings ringing the opposite sides of the square?

Headphone jack should be the easiest fix for any repair place tbh.

I was thinking the same thing -- just eager to avoid the particularly sketchy places, for want of losing my data security while the phone is out of view. Probably not worth worrying about, as I presume that Russia, the PRC, *and* the DPRK all have all of our vital information already, and are each just waiting for the right time to use it.

You can always ask one to do it while you wait (and watch). If you have a password or pattern lock I don't think there's any risk. Just take out your memory card if you're really worried.
