Craft Beer in Kampot
hello people,
in an effort to get news out from behind the Durian Curtain... there has been a recent deluge down here with not only rain but some pretty nice beers.
several inn keepers are now selling Craft Beers that are both locally produced, as in Flowers Nano Brewery
and a decent assortment from Vietnam as well. a little bar hopping (pun included) and we turned up these tasty brews.
Fuzzy Logic Pale Ale by Mad Genius Brewery
Jasmine IPA and Passion Fruit Wheat both from Pasteur Street Brewing
Loose Rivet New England IPA, Kurtz's Insane IPA and Pitiless Folly Pale Ale all from Heart of Darkness
One Eyed Imperial IPA, Lovemore Lemongrass Blonde Ale, Baby Fatso Dry Stout and Nam Nam Nam Cream Ale all from Winking Seal Beer Co.
Te Te White and Te Te Electric IPA from Te Te Brewing Saigon.
yes... the road sucks, especially the last 25 clicks into town but Giant Ibis is now running their big buses down here twice a day and the train is fantastic.
so c'mon down and have a look see. the first Klang is on me.

Several places in Kampot now, you say? I remember Rusty Keyhole 2 had a couple on offer, and Razorback Bar BQ had a plethora of them. Even gave me a fancy pint glass to keep one time.
