RIP to the girl. Wild hogs are a vicious menace. In the West, they don’t run when threatened, they charge and attack. Very dangerous. They uproot the soil, and their meat does not make good eating.

Yair, we get the odd little one in Oz too ay. They don't run either unlike these scaredy cat Asian ones do from the sounds of your comment. Meat is great to eat except for the chance of brucellosis when butchering 'em.newkidontheblock wrote: ↑Wed Oct 24, 2018 6:12 pm RIP to the girl. Wild hogs are a vicious menace. I used to hunt them with my Cajun friends in Louisiana; we used three breeds of dogs and packed high caliber pistols. I favored a .41 magnum. No doubt they're formidable. We had to.keeo our eyes open all the time. When you.get close enough you can smell them, but not the venomous snakes. As for taste if they're properly marinated it's some of the best meat I've ever tasted.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

Can one humanly marinate and eat 21 wild hogs worth of meat in one go?

They breed in such large numbers that Texans in eradication hunts simply leave them on the field to rot.
Now the goal is to trap an entire group in a single go.
