Yes condolences to you. Sorry that your friend passed away. RIP.
But pie man at least you had been there to help.
This is the 3rd case of TB I have known of on this site. I ask people not to take it lightly if they know someone or they may have this and think a few pills will quickly sort it. I had multi drug resistance TB. Lots of treatment over 5 years sorted it. I was lucky, but unfortunately my sister was not.

Believe me, I'm not taking it lightly. I am under no illusions how serious it is and how hard it can be to treat and to the fact that it may be ultimately fatal for me. It is the second deadliest infectious disease in the world after all. However, I see no point in dwelling on that personally
I am trying to attack it as I do most problems I encounter in life - light heartedly and with a positive attitude. For me that works better then a sad, sorry "woe is me" attitude and I try to encourage others to do the same.
