Barefoot Homeless Chinese Man Detained on the Streets of Phnom Penh

Post by CEOCambodiaNews » Fri Oct 12, 2018 5:45 pm

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On October 12, 2018, at 11 am, the Department of Immigration received a barefoot 36-year-old Chinese man, PANG DONG SHENG, from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and Youth Rehabilitation in Phnom Penh, for being homeless and not being able to produce his passport.

According to the police, the Chinese man arrived in Cambodia on May 27, 2018, through Phnom Penh International Airport. Since then, he has been living in Cambodia with no job, no money, and has been sleeping on the streets of Phnom Penh.

The suspect was sent to the Department of Immigration to follow the legal procedures, which will probably mean deportation to China.
