This coming week in Phnom Penh

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

The Teahouse Asian Urban Resort is under $40 and centrally located. Pool is minuscule but rooms and decor are nice.

I have had family stay their as it is close to my home.

WooHoo, I'm in! (For Alma Cafe.)

This social shit is the kind of cool stuff that makes me glad we started this place! !

Ok, maybe that's the wine talking. Just left from Orchidee with a buddy.

We both agreed that the Khmer food there is good (but nothing special), but the lasagna is kick ass! We both ordered it and I saw at least 2 other people order the same, LoL.

thanks, but so far my top limit is Orussey hotel for $20. Don't care about a pool... really all I care about is a steady supply of fresh towels when needed, quiet, aircon, and ideally a desk to work from.

A $10-15 place with such basic things would be nice.

And since I work nights, a place with a windowless room option would be a plus.
