If You Have Something Random to Say About Khmer440.com

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

I've not heard of that one before, what's that look like?
it's a vacation where you spend the whole time strapped to a cross.
Is that crucifact or crucifixion?

LoL, don't worry about that here! :good: You can't even connect to K440 via Tor. :assassin:

I imagine that "some" of the TOR IPs are banned... ones that have been used to spam/etc in the past for example.

That would make it a different user experience depending on which node you came in through.

Though for those using TOR just to hide your IP from a simple web forum, that's like using a chainsaw to open a beer bottle. Massive overkill.

Just hit up hidemyass or the like.

Key-verified Tails ISO run in a VM within Linux. No need to reboot to a Live CD - can just switch over.
Not for illegal activities as both the VM and OS can "watch", but that's enough for home privacy.

The more people use TOR, the more anon it becomes. Tails is configured with security in mind and runs internet comms through TOR.

really if you have nothing to hide TOR is a massive slowdown to standard browsing. even compared to a single node VPN for spoofing a new IP on a forum.

it's great for what it is... but unless you really need 100% anonymity from governing agencies, it's "costs" don't measure up to its benefits. that's why now the majority of users are using it for illegal or questionably legal activities.
