Where can I buy a kitchen sink strainer/stopper?

Post by Dangerous Dave »

I think I'm too stupid to attach a photograph to this, but I'm looking for the same, boring sink strainer-and-stopper that is known and used throughout essentially the entire rest of the planet, like ... this? (Trying to embed a picture here....)

So far all anyone seems to have is a flat metal object that only very gently rests over the opening, so that it dislodges and lets all the water out as soon as you try to do anything in there.

I've tried Central Market, Soriya shopping center, IBC, and any of about two dozen individual gadget-and-hardware types of stores, but no luck.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find one like I'm describing, somewhere? Thanks.

Guess you have tried those Japanese "everything" shops?

You mean at Aeon mall? It's a bit of a slog for me to get to Aeon mall, so if there was a stand-alone Japanese sell-everything shop in the area of 184 and 63 (Orussey, Central, Soriya area), I'd be grateful.

I also need one of those. I'm fairly sure I saw them at super duper, but it wasn't the right size for what I needed
If you enjoy noise pollution and obnoxious driving practices, Phnom Penh is the place for you!

I got a couple from one of the kitchen sink stores along Mao Tse Toung, best thing is to show the staff a picture or you'll just be wandering aimlessly
