2 Teens Snatch Bag with $7,200 from Foreigner in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On September 19, 2018, two 17-year-old suspects, Kon Theamengly called Sal, and Veng Mengleang, were arrested by Phnom Penh police after they snatched a bag from a foreigner on September 16, 2016.

In the attack, the victim lost a bag containing US$7,200, 100 Yen, a passport,and other precious documents. Officers from the Ministry of the Interior are preparing the suspects' case to be submitted to the court.

It seems like they have a good record of finding these thieves. I wonder how they were able to find them.

It shows you how honest the Cambodian police are. In Thailand, they may catch the thieves but the money will be missing.

They only publicize the cases where they catch someone, and the article doesn't actually specify that the person got all their money back.....
