Dead Foreigner Found on Svay Rieng Roadside

Svay Rieng, Cambodia News: An unidentified foreigner was found dead at 6 am on September 13, 2018, on the side of national road 1, in Svay Rieng.

The local residents said that they heard a car pull up by the side of the road very early that morning, about 4am, stopping for a few minutes only, before driving away again. Then, at 6am, a cake-seller arrived on the scene and discovered the body. She called the police, who examined the body and determined that it was a foreign man and that he had been murdered. The police then bagged up the body and took it away for further examination. So far, the man has only been identified as a male foreigner.
