Phnom Penh Road Sign Crashed by Crane
Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: On September 12, 2018, a truck delivering a crane hit a traffic billboard above the road, driving in direction of Phnom Penh International Airport, causing the crane to crash on to street 271, Khan Cham Karmorn, Phnom Penh. The driver had obviously not seen that his load was too high to pass under the sign.
Then, in a surprising move, the truck driver got out and ran away from the scene of the accident, leaving the crane blocking the road. Eventually police arrived and took the truck for safe-keeping at the traffic police station. The truck driver is being sought by police.
