It's a Bust: Poipet Nightclubs Raided for Drugs.

Banteay Meanchey, Cambodia News: Banteay Meanchey provincial police led raids on three nightclubs and KTVs in search of illegal drugs in Poipet city. From midnight to 3 am on August 30, 2018, 3 nightclubs, the Gold Town nightclub, Lakfira nightclub, and Touch Town nightclub, were raided and searched by police who found a number of customers with drugs and drug equipment.

About ten people were arrested after submitting to drug tests, and according to a police officer who was present, most of them were Chinese nationals.
Maj Gen Khem, the officer who lead the raids, said police are still working on the case, but the nightclub owners have agreed to stop all drug trafficking in their clubs.

Again I will say the situation of pay your way out of these situations will continue until one of the big wigs kids suffers through the activities in one of these places.
