Passport RFID and Android NFC
Holy shit that's neat. You have to enter the passport number, exp date, and date of birth... then set your phone on the passport and watch it go. Saves it all to a nice XML file. This is going to be fun to play with.

It must be nice living in the protective little bubble that is your head - so all again, for the rest of us? Re: Passport RFID and Android NFC
Android phones have a Near Field Communicator function now... meaning they can read RFID chips. Like the ones in your passport. I just scanned my own passport and pulled in all of the data from it into a nice text readout. Even has my passport photo in the data.

I thought you were busy moving countries? You appear to have far too much time on your hands.
