A 21-year-old man was charged yesterday with injuring one of two men who were flirting with his girlfriend in Banteay Meanchey’s Sisophon town.

Police said the couple was leaving a nightclub on Monday night when the two started catcalling. After returning home, the man, 21, grabbed a samurai sword and went rogue, hacking one in the back before fleeing the scene.

The victim was admitted to hospital. Family reported the incident to police, who arrested the suspect. KOH SANTEPHEAP

Psaar TTP is our local (there almost daily) and if the swords are sold there, they're well hidden - haven't seen them.

You can't buy them at a market. Usually these are pre-orders and local blacksmiths manufacture them (this is actually illegal in Cambodia, but .....well)
