French Expat MARC MARIE ANDRE RENE SEJOURNE Dies in Kampot Room

Kampot, Cambodia News: A 57-year-old French expat, MARC MARIE ANDRE RENE SEJOURNE, died at 6:20 pm, on August 20,2018, in his rented room in Sangkat Kampong bay, Kampot.

After receiving the information that Mr Sejourne was deceased, the police went to examine the body, and concluded that the victim had died from "fainting". In this case, the police determined that the victim died from a head injury after he had fallen to the ground, injuring his head. It is implied that at the time of his death the victim was alone, with no one to give immediate assistance.The reason for the fall is not given.

The immigration police have contacted the French Embassy to locate the man's family and hand over the body.

I was going to say that he looked youthful for 57 but then I realised that photo was from 1995.

A more recent photo from his facebook page. Seems he had been living some time in Sihanoukville before moving to Kampot.
