More here:The Chinese rank top among 25 foreign nationals who committed the most crimes in the Kingdom, said a National Police report released over the weekend.
During the first six months of this year, there were a total of 88 criminal cases, 17 of which were drug-related.
Police arrested 378 people from 25 nationalities, with the Chinese outnumbering others at 257. This was followed by Nigerians at 37, Vietnamese (14), Thais (12) and South Koreans, eight. Most of the crimes were committed in the capital.

Ok, so now post the table that shows the % of Chinese nationals and tourists ( the crimes aren't just committed by the "expats" you know?) here as compared to other races. Otherwise what you have posted is meaningless.

Re: League table of foreign criminals in KoW
That's a pretty good point. At the same time the general feeling expressed seemed to be that there were many mainlander Chinese here now and too many of them were running wild. That's an honest concern that locals and law enforcement are expressing. Hopefully they can reign it in and all will be well.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Wow, that's nearly double last year's numbers for China while all the other nationalities are near flat.

Out of 2,000,000 or so arrivals, more than 900,000 are Chinese.
It's almost reached the point where every second foreigner to arrive in the country is a Chinaman.

I agree mate. But a lot of it is perception. Are there more crimes committed by Chinese here right now? Undoubtedly. But as a % of visitors/expats here, not so much so. There are a lot more of them, so they are more visible. I would also be interested to know what % of the crimes they commit are against themselves. Reading the news it seems to be Chinese V Chinese mainly. A bit like the 1% biker gangs in the west - they don't usuually cause problems for clean skins unless you get yourself involved. Yet every Saturday paper is headlined with " Bandido's and Hells Angels etc, etc, etc"John Bingham wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 8:12 pm

Yet they aren't committing 50% of the foreign national crimes? Go figure!prahocalypse now wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 8:16 pm Out of 2,000,000 or so arrivals, more than 900,000 are Chinese.

Are you saying that you think Chinese criminality in Cambodia is ok if it only affects other Chinese ?Hotdigr wrote: ↑Tue Aug 21, 2018 8:21 pmI agree mate. But a lot of it is perception. Also, I think perception is important - maybe more than the actual figures.
