17 Year Old Girl Dies of "Ketamine" Heart Attack

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

I do... just not for people who die from drug overdoses.
Actually she's died from an adverse reaction to what would normally be non-lethal. What's your opinion on people who die from Tylenol?

Was just thinking the same thing. I'm sure he'll be along soon enough to tell us that ketamine is safe and has never killed anyone.

It is quite safe. There's a reason it's given to victims of severe trauma damage instead of opiates.

Its also been clinically proven to be a very effective anti depressant in humans, when administered infrequently.

Long term daily users can be more suspectable to kidney, gall bladder and uti issues though. And as the medical cat has pointed out, there may be complications for some isolated users - as is the case with any drug.

Expressions of sorry, grief and condolences on an anonymous forum for a person you don’t know nor have ever met are at best virtue signaling and at worst pointless.
Just being honest.
Agree with that attitude esp when that person is no longer in pain, grief or depression.

Actually theres no real proof that is the real reason for death. Autopsies, doctors, hospitals, opinionated remarks of anyone get it wrong all the time and esp newsreporters and journalists
