Police Chief Finds His Missing Car Number Plate at Phnom Penh International Airport

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

13 August 2018
Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: The car number plate of the Beung Prolet Police Chief was found on an Audi Q7 car at Phnom Penh International Airport, many years after it had been stolen from his car.

The police chief said that, years ago, the plate no. PP2AS-3131 of his Highlander was stolen outside a car-wash when he took the car to be cleaned.

Then on August 12, 2018, at 9:50 pm, the victim took his nephew to the airport, and strangely enough, when he was walking through the airport carpark, he saw his missing car plate on the Audi Q7 car. As he called the police for backup, the driver of the Audi ran away to escape, leaving two passengers at the scene.
However, the two passengers didn't want to assist the police chief in any way, so he got the police to take the passengers and the car to the station for questioning.
