Latest news from Sichuan Airlines is not good. Does anyone know if they have started flights to Cambodia yet ?
Sichuan Airlines pilot 'sucked halfway out' when cockpit windshield broke
15 May 2018
The co-pilot of a Sichuan Airlines flight that was forced to make an emergency landing on Monday was “sucked halfway out” of the plane when a cockpit windshield blew out, local media reported citing the aircraft’s captain.

Captain Liu Chuanjian – hailed as a hero on social media after having to land the Airbus A319 manually – told the Chengdu Economic Daily his aircraft had just reached a cruising altitude of 32,000ft when a deafening sound tore through the cockpit.

There was a sudden loss of pressure and drop in temperature. When he looked over, the right windshield was gone.

“There was no warning sign. Suddenly the windshield just cracked and made a loud bang. The next thing I know my co-pilot had been sucked halfway out of the window,” he was quoted as saying.

“Everything in the cockpit was floating in the air. Most of the equipment malfunctioned ... and I couldn’t hear the radio. The plane was shaking so hard I could not read the gauges.”

The co-pilot, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pulled back in. He sustained scratches and a sprained wrist, the Civil Aviation Administration of China said, adding that one other cabin crew member was injured in the descent. None of the plane’s 119 passengers were hurt. An investigation is under way.

Copilots wearing three point-belts stay in their seat, unless the whole seat is torn off...

But even if if he got out, he was not sucked out, but blown out.

The two verbs are often confused.
I'm sure the English teachers here will confirm that.

Follow up to the Sichuan Airlines story:

Heroic Chinese pilot who landed plane with shattered windscreen awarded $1 million
Jun 08, 2018
Liu Chuanjian, the pilot for Sichuan Airlines Flight 3U8633, has been given the honorary title of "CAAC Heroic Captain" and an award of 5 million yuan (S$1.04 million) at a meeting held Friday.

As Liu flew the Airbus A319 over Chengdu on May 14, the right-hand side of the cockpit window broke, and his co-pilot was almost sucked out.
Liu landed the plane at the Chengdu airport, and all crew members and the 119 passengers are safe.

At the meeting held by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and Sichuan provincial government, the crew of Flight 3U8633 was honored as the "CAAC Heroic Crew."

The second captain Liang Peng was awarded 2 million yuan and the co-pilot 1 million yuan, while the other six crew members shared 1 million yuan.

Ruili Airlines adds Phnom Penh service
June 29, 2018
NAKHON PHANOM, 29 June 2018: Ruili Airlines based in Yunnan province, China, has started a new service to Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh.

Tourism officials from Cambodia attending the Mekong Tourism Forum said it would boost tourism from Yunnan province, which is part of the Greater Mekong Sub-region.

“It will fill in a network gap as we lack air connectivity between Kunming and Phnom Penh, which is one of the closest Chinese cities to Cambodia,” the official told TTR Weekly.

Ruili Airlines started the service mid-June flying daily and using a 144-seat Boeing 737.

However, effective 13 July, the Kunming-Phnom Penh route will be served by the larger 186-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft, on a three weekly schedule.

As of 13 July the flight will depart Kunming at 1440 and arrive in Phnom Penh at 1750 on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
