Dog-brand contact cement - thinner?

Post by StroppyChops »

Y'all.

I use a LOT of Dog-brand contact cement and am often frustrated by the lack of consistency in the consistency. My current tin is almost too thick to pour, and requires me to cut the bit I want from the remaining part in the tin, and then try to slap it on to surfaces before it goes tack-dry in a moment or two. Reasonably-branded contact adhesives have matching thinners, but I haven't seen any Dog-brand thinner in Bodge. Does anyone have any actual knowledge of whether the stuff can be thinned, please, and with what?
